The Vexation of the Venue Hunt!

Finding the perfect recption venue has proved to be much more difficult than I'd anticipated. We, for sure, didn't want a standard, indoor, sit-down reception. Ideally, I'd have like to find a property with beautiful gardens where we can host an outdoor ceremony followed by a fantastic picnic reception. Somewhere we could decorate with fairy lights and hanging lanterns, with the option of a marquee, if the weather necessitates. From trawling through many an online wedding forum, it seems there is a MASSIVE opening in the market for a large, pretty garden where the bride/groom can hire their own caterers and bring in their own alcohol, and string fairy lights up. Someone needs to get on this, pronto!
